"I volunteer because there is always a need for volunteers. Not everyone has the time to be a volunteer but I am lucky as I do. A lot of people don’t like to commit themselves thinking they aren’t qualified – I don’t agree with that as you learn along the way which is better for yourself as it increases your own knowledge. You get to meet a lot of very nice people with the different clubs you volunteer for. I have been with Alexander Park Dressage Club for many years and I hope to be there for many more."
Wendy Cotton is a Life Member of Alexander Park Dressage Club (one of Australia's biggest equestrian clubs with over 300 active members). She has been on the committee for over 20 years and has held her current portfolios of Secretary, Event Secretary, Membership Secretary and Point Score Secretary for the last 15 years. Wendy strives to give all riders a good draw and is always happy to make changes and listen to their needs. #NVW2018
