Australian showjumper Edwina Alexander has continued her fantastic form in the lead-up to next month’s World Equestrian Games in Aachen, Germany.

Edwina, who was competing in Portugal as part of the Global Champions Tour, finished second overnight in the €150,000 Grand Prix Costa do Estoril behind Belgium's Ludo Philippaerts.

Riding the horse she will compete on at WEG, Isovlas Pialotta, Edwina was one of seven riders to jump clear rounds before heading into a jump-off against the clock.
