Three vacancies on the National Board

Franz Venhaus, Tuesday, 29 August 2006

The first terms for two Directors will expire at the 2006 AGM in November and one other will retire. This will create three vacancies.

At the EFA Annual General Meeting in November 2006, two Directors, Mrs. Mary Seefried and Mr. Kerry Brydon, will complete their first term on the new EFA Board.  Both are eligible to stand for re-election. Following the completion of his second term as Chairman, Mr. Russ Withers will also retire from the Board.  We now call for nominations to fill these three vacncies.

The EFA National Board is appointed by the EFA's "Shareholders" (the seven EFA Branches) from nominations received from the EFA membership.  Other persons may also nominate but need to become EFA members before their appointment to the Board. Directors on the National Board cannot at the same time be on the Board of an EFA Branch or chair a National Discipline Committee.

We have prepared an Information Pack for people interested in nominating for election to the Board. This pack is available for download as one single file or by individual document.
