First EFA National Sport Achievement Awards
EFA National Sport Achievement Awards were presented for the first time during the Welcome Cocktail Party for the EFA Annual National Forum. The function was hosted by the outgoing EFA President Russ Withers at the Old Treasury in Melbourne.

Our congratulations to the winners! The Annual Forum, held at the Hilton on the Park in Melbourne, was a very successful event. We will publish a report later.
At the 2006 EFA Annual General Meeting held the day before, EFA Shareholders (Branches) re-elected Mary Seefried and Kerry Brydon to the National Board and elected former WA Branch Chairman Peter Hickson to fill the third vacancy. The new Board later elected Geoff Sinclair as the new Chairman and President of the EFA, replacing Russ Withers who had completed his term as Chairman.
Congratulations to all, and many thanks to Russ Withers for his outstanding achievements during his term a President.
