Laurie Lever and Drossel Dan win ISS-Tempo World Cup Grand Prix
With the only clear round over a two-round course, Laurie Lever and Drossel Dan won the $5,000 Grand Prix at the 2006 ISS-Tempo Summer Showjumping Classic at SIEC. Olympic course designer Leopoldo Palacios presented a testing course to the 12 horse and rider combinations entered in the FEI World Cup-qualifying Grand Prix. There were no clears in the first round. Laurie Lever and Ashleigh Drossel Dan had one rail in hand but won convincingly with a clear round.
Geoff Bloomfield and Ideal de Valette placed 2nd, Paul Athansoff and Wirragulla Nicklaus 3rd, Gavin Chester and Warlord II 4th and Tim Amitrano and Mr Innocent 5th.
