Getting Started Pre requisites Forms & Documents

EA offers certificates in Riding/Driving and Horse Management from Introductory to Level 3. These certificates can be done as stand-alone units or as pre-requisites to the Coaching Accreditation courses.
Riding & Driving Certificates
Workbook course covers the variety of skills and knowledge needed to perform equestrian riding up to and including Preliminary Level Dressage, including safely riding in the open
Introductory Driving Workbook course covers the variety of skills and knowledge needed to perform all the basic carriage driving for a single harness vehicle.
Level 1 General Workbook course enhances the riders ability developed through the Introductory Riding course by covering the skills, knowledge and concepts that will enable to the rider to ride/compete up to and including, 1. Novice Level Dressage, 2. Jumping – riding courses to 90cm , 3. Cross Country - Ride cross country courses with fences to 80cm
Level 1 Dressage Riding Workbook course enhances the riders Dressage riding ability developed through the Introductory Riding courses by covering the skills, knowledge and concepts that will enable to the rider to ride/compete up to and including 1. Elementary level dressage, 2. Poles and Grids – particularly for the development of the dressage horse
Level One Driving Workbook course enhances the drivers ability developed through the Introductory Driving course by covering the skills, knowledge and concepts that will enable to the driver to perform all tasks required for driving a pair.
Horse Management Certificates
Introductory
Workbook course covers the basic concepts of general horse management, essential to the provision of minimum standards of horse welfare and practice. It is designed for persons with no previous horse management experience and therefore is essential for any person starting out in horse care or for persons with little experience wanting to learn more.
Level One
Workbook course further develops the basic concepts covered in the Introductory course with a focus towards the care of performance horses for sport activities (.i.e. Dressage, Eventing, Jumping etc).
