Coach & Trainee Registration/Insurance Renewal

Rebecca Willis, Friday, 2 September 2011

Following a recent comprehensive tender process conducted over several months, EA has appointed Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers Pty Ltd (Gow-Gates) to manage our Insurance, Risk Management and related services. EA and Gow-Gates are committed to ensure the National Insurance Programme remains competitively priced without compromising on the cover provided.

This EA Registered Coaches Insurance Summary provides an overview of the current insurance structure in place under the programme from 4pm on 30th September 2011.

The information shown in this summary and attached documents is prepared as a guide only.
For full details of cover, terms and conditions refer to the policy documents that can be obtained by contacting Equestrian Australia or Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers directly.

The scope of cover provided under the programme is not “comprehensive” for all persons and the individual needs and circumstances of each insured person have not been taken into consideration when arranging this insurance.
Whilst the programme provides basic levels of cover for EA Registered Coaches, it does not seek to replace private health insurance and other insurances.

As such, all EA Coaches should consider the adequacy of the coverage for their needs and circumstances and it is highly recommended that they take out Private Health Insurance, Life Insurance and ‘Top Up’ coverage over and above the coverage provided by this insurance as required by their particular circumstance.  Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers can assist with ‘Top Up’ covers in addition to any other insurance requirements.
