A new short video created by the APC explains the sport of Para-Equestrian
The Australian Paralympic Committee has prepared a series of short video clips which provide more information about the sports that are to be contested at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
The latest video provdes an insight into the sport of Para-Equestrian. .
Open to athletes with a physical disability or visual impairment, Para-Equestrian is one of 21 sports that will be contested at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
Australia has been represented by Para-Equestrian riders at every Games since the sport was first added to the Paralympic programme in 1996. Since then, Australian riders have collected two gold, one silver and five bronze medals.
Riders from 26 nations have qualified to participate in the Equestrian events at the Games which will take place at Greenwich Park from 30 August to 4 September.
