The latest HSBC world rider rankings place seven Australian riders in the top 20.

After a spate of recent success, UK based Aussie Eventer Chris Burton has made the biggest move and finds himself in the top ten.

A first and second placing at Saumur CCI3* has helped the 31 year old move from 52nd position up to ninth.

Australia’s highest ranked rider is Stuart Tinney who sits at sixth position.

Also in the top ten is Shane Rose, who moved forward two positions to eighth place, and Clayton Fredericks who is in 10th.

South Australian Megan Jones is 13th while Emma Scott and Emma Mason are 15th and 20th respectively.

Having won the Rolex Kentucky CCI4*, Great Britain’s William Fox Pitt remains at the top of the world rankings.

New Zealand’s Mark Todd is second with a comfortable 95 point lead over Boyd Martin of the USA who is third.
