Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi win Melbourne CDI-W Freestyle

Heath Ryan and Regardez Moi have won the Melbourne CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle overnight.
The combination’s score of 70.050 was just shy of the score they achieved at the Sydney CDI but they remain at the top of the 2012 Equestrian Grand Final Dressage leader board thanks to their 71.275 score from Sydney.
Caroline Wagner and Tango V made the biggest leap on the leader board moving from ninth to fifth position. Their score of 66.725 in the Melbourne GP Freestyle also put them in second position on the night.
Scoring 63.725, Jeremy Janjic and Django of Cacharel just edged out Kerry Mack and Mayfield Pzazz for third place.
Eight combinations lined up to compete in this year's CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle which was staged at the 55th annual Melbourne International Three Day Event. A good crowd gathered in the indoor arena at the Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre to witness some of Australia's best local Dressage riders perform.

The next chance for riders to claim one of 12 automatic qualifying positions for the Dressage Grand Final - which will take place at this year’s EQUITANA from Melbourne 15-18 - will be at the Brisbane CDI from July 27-29.
