2012 Australian Endurance Team to take part in a special training camp in Noosa

The recently announced Australian Endurance Team to contest the 2012 World Endurance Championships in England will be participating in a team camp on the weekend of June 15-17 at Noosa in Queensland.
All team members will be attending and are looking forward to an intense weekend of rider workshops and information sessions from the following experts.
Jackie Byrnes, Personal Fitness and Nutrition, was the coach for Olympians such as Melinda Gansford Taylor and was recently awarded life membership to Athletics Australia and will lead discussions on personal fitness and nutrition.
Chris Burke from IRT will discuss the travel arrangements for the horses to and from the UK and the return Quarantine arrangements. IRT is transporting all of EA’s Olympic and Paralympic horses to London and the Australian based Endurance horses will be accompanying the Paralympic team on the 8th August from Melbourne
Ruth White, an EA level 1 coach and FEI 1 star athlete, will give a presentation on Equitation, coach the team and provide individual horse and rider sessions.
The Team Veterinarian Dr Narelle Cribb will be inspecting the team horses and provide to feedback on current training programs and soundness.
