2016 ADC Performance Medal Presentation

The Australian Dressage Committee’s (ADC) performance medal presentation at the Australian Dressage Championships has become an annual tradition and this fourth’s presentation saw 19 horses receive the prestigious gold medal.

The medals are an initiative of the ADC and recognise outstanding performances and are awarded to horse/rider combinations which obtain the required results during the qualifying period. (Information on qualification available HERE).

Recipients were presented with their gold medals on Saturday, prior to the Grand Prix Freestyle CDI-W in the indoor arena, with ADC Chair Mary Seefried awarding the medals to the riders.

"On behalf of the ADC, I would like to congratulate the riders who have won these gold performance medals. Riders come from three states and all levels are represented other than Grand Prix. They are a very special achievement - the number of winners goes up each year and this is a good indication of the rising standard of dressage in Australia. "
