Australian team at the 2014 CPEDI3* in Hartpury (UK)

EOI for Para Equestrian CPEDI3* in Hartpury (UK), 6-10th July 2015

Equestrian Australia is calling for expressions of interest for Para Equestrian athletes to compete at Hartpury (UK) CPEDI3*, from 6-10th July 2015.  This will be a self funded event. Athletes who have horses already based in Europe or UK and/or athletes prepared to ride borrowed horses are encouraged to apply.

Up to 6 athletes will be accepted with a team of four plus two individuals being our maximum allowed entries.

The team must contain at least one Grade 1 or 2 athlete and shall not include more than two (2) athletes from any one grade as per the FEI Rules.

To be eligible for consideration, you must be available for the following dates:

  • Athletes will be expected to travel to the UK on the 30th June 2015
  • Returning to Australia on 13th of July (depart UK 11th of July).

Expected costs per athlete:

  • EA & FEI Registrations
  • EA International Competitors License
  • Return airfare to London (rider and carer if required)
  • Insurance
  • Airport Transfers
  • Accommodation & Meals
  • Horse leasing fee
  • Horse stabling, bedding & feed costs
  • Competition entry fee

Athletes to provide:

  • Competition gear
  • Training gear
  • Any specialised equipment/tack
  • Freestyle music on CD

Chef d'Equipe will be Sally Francis who will fly with Athletes and carers (Max 1 carer per Athlete).

National Performance Director, Julia Battams will also be in attendance as Team Coach.
