Equestrian Australia Board Announcement

It is with regret that the EA Board has accepted the resignation of Leigh Clifford from the EA Board.

Leigh has found that with his existing commitments, in particular as Chair of Qantas, that he has not been able to devote sufficient time to EA as a full Board Member.

Leigh’s contribution has been very significant since he joined the Board in June 2016.  He has Chaired the High-Performance Advisory Panel following the Olympic Games in Rio and has agreed to continue to work in that role.  Leigh’s enthusiasm and initiative to provide EA with funding to support the development of our sport is appreciated and supported by the Board.

The Board thanks him for his past involvement and looks forward with confidence to our continued association and partnership.

The casual vacancy on the EA Board will be filled in accordance with the constitutional requirements.
