NCAS Chair Simon Kale steps down

Equestrian Australia (EA) has today accepted the resignation of National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) Chairman, Simon Kale.

Since joining the EA NCAS Committee in 2009, Simon has dedicated countless hours as a coach mentor and educator as well as providing leadership across improving coach pathways.

A well regarded Level 3 coach, Simon served the last four years as Chair of the NCAS committee and EA Chairman Dr Warwick Vale sincerely thanked Simon for his commitment to improving coaching within equestrian sport nationally.

“Simon is not only one of the sport’s top coaches, but he has provided valuable support to teaching and educating the next generation of coaches.

“As a long standing member on the NCAS Committee, and most recently as Chairperson, Simon has helped to improve coach education in Australia which is vital to improving the sport as a whole.

“On behalf of the EA Board and staff, I would like to thank Simon for the invaluable role he has played on the NCAS Committee,” said Dr Vale.

The appointment of the new Chair of the NCAS Committee will be announced by the EA Board in the coming weeks.
