2022 Champions Decided at Pryde’s EasiFeed Australian Jumping Championships

It was a thrilling week of Jumping at the 2022 Pryde’s EasiFeed Australian Jumping Championships with over 740 horses and 410 riders contesting a variety of coveted titles across the divisions.

With all eyes on Boneo Park’s world-class arena on the final day of competition it was Tom McDermott and his stallion Cachassini II who were crowned Pryde’s EasiFeed Australian Jumping Senior Champions 2022. Impressively it was a third senior title win for Tom who also won the accolade in 2012 and 2019.

The 2022 Racing Hearts Australian Young Rider Championship was won by Clemency Hughes riding Diamond B Corvina. Clemency has been in top form this year accumulating a trove of wins including Australian Junior Champion in February. The pair put in an impressive performance across all of the preliminary rounds, as well as the final, dropping only one rail over five rounds of competition.

The Horseland Australian Junior Championship was won by Claire Zylstra riding Harvey B and the 4 Cyte Australian Children’s Championship was won by Imogen Lindh riding Licaviv

 Both of the classes showcased an impressive depth of young Australian jumping talent leaving spectators with no doubt about the bright future of Australian Jumping.
