Guide to new passport processing timeframes
Allow plenty of time before your first FEI event. New passports are currently taking up to 6 weeks to process. The timeframes below can be used as a guide for finalising you passport:

  1. A new blank passport will be sent to you via Express Post within 10 working days of receiving your order.
  2. Within 7 working days of recieving your blank passport, you must return the passport to EA ( we recommend Express Post with a tracking number). A vet will need to complete the horse’s description and diagram and you will need to complete the ownership and pedigree pages. Please note: If you do not send the completed passport back to us within 7 working days, this will extend your passport processing time.
  3. Once we have received your completed passport we will process and return to you via Express Post within 10 working days.

Please note: EA takes no responsibility for postage delays or passports lost through Australia Post.

Passport renewals
Send passports requiring renewal into EA.
