Guide to new passport processing timeframes
Allow plenty of time before your first FEI event. New passports are currently taking up to 6 weeks to process. The timeframes below can be used as a guide for finalising you passport:
- A new blank passport will be sent to you via Express Post within 10 working days of receiving your order.
- Within 7 working days of recieving your blank passport, you must return the passport to EA ( we recommend Express Post with a tracking number). A vet will need to complete the horse’s description and diagram and you will need to complete the ownership and pedigree pages. Please note: If you do not send the completed passport back to us within 7 working days, this will extend your passport processing time.
- Once we have received your completed passport we will process and return to you via Express Post within 10 working days.
Please note: EA takes no responsibility for postage delays or passports lost through Australia Post.
Passport renewals
Send passports requiring renewal into EA.
