Clubs Can Now Apply for Para & Virtus Dressage Funding
The Equestrian Australia Para Dressage Committee (EAPDC) is inviting EA Affiliated Clubs and State Branches to apply for financial support as part of a pilot funding program running to the end of the 2025-26 financial year. Grants of up to $150 are on offer for up to 15 successful clubs, with the aim of lowering the barriers to hosting Para Dressage and Virtus Dressage competitions across the country.
Funding can be used to offset costs associated with running Para Dressage classes - including prizes and the fees of qualified officials such as EA Accredited Para Dressage Judges and Para Dressage Stewards. Clubs are encouraged, where possible, to also incorporate Virtus Dressage classes into their events.
To be eligible, clubs must be currently affiliated with Equestrian Australia, and the relevant competition must be scheduled for 2026 with all invoices received no later than 30 June 2026. Clubs with outstanding acquittals from any previous EAPDC funding are asked to finalise those before applying.
Applications will be assessed on merit, with the EAPDC placing particular weight on geographic spread - seeking to distribute grants across a range of states and regions - as well as on the broader benefit to the development and promotion of Para Dressage and Virtus Dressage. Clubs that have not previously received EAPDC funding may also be given additional consideration.
Once funding is received, clubs will need to provide acquittal documentation - including tax invoices, receipts and photos - to demonstrate how the grant was used. Tax invoices should be sent to [email protected] (with the reference EAPDC funding), with all other acquittal materials directed to [email protected].
