FEI Endurance Officials Course Kicks off the Year

The FEI Endurance course for Judges, Technical Delegates (TD) and Stewards was the first Australian-based FEI course, across all disciplines, for the year.  The three-day course was held in Wooli, on the picturesque North Coast of NSW, over the 19th – 21st January.

Experienced official, Ron Guest from New Zealand was the course director. Ron was a wealth of knowledge and gave a very interesting presentation on his role as an Independent Governance Advisor for Endurance (IGA).

Back Row (L to R): Robyn Parnell, Thomas McCormack, Marylou Locke, Denise Kaye, Hayden Fisher, Course Director Ron Guest; Middle Row: Louise McCormack, Deanne Berry, Front Row: Deborah Symington

The course offered a chance for promotion and maintenance for those who attended. It was great to see new faces keen to become FEI Officials, within the Endurance community.

The Endurance community, as well as the EA Endurance committee, were instrumental in facilitating the people attending the course in the form of funding – thanks goes to Stirling’s Crossing Endurance Club.
