Sharon Jarvis appointed as the Para-Equestrian Rider's Representative

At the Boneo CPEDI rider’s meeting, dual World Equestrian Games bronze medalist Sharon Jarvis was elected as the Para-Equestrian Rider’s Representative.

The appointment is a two year term which will see the High Performance squad rider serve in the positon until the end of 2017.

A seasoned competitor at the elite level and having competed at the Beijing Paralympic Games and 2010 World Equestrian Games, Jarvis is well suited to the role.

"I feel privileged to represent a group of great riders and to help with the development of the sport in Australia," she said.

"Para-Equestrian is such a developing sport and trying to increase the awareness of our sport by having the same representation as dressage to enable us to further develop the sport is important."

Para-Equestrian riders who wish to contact Sharon and address issues they consider important, may do so through the below contact information. Sharon will report to Denise Rogan who is the Australian Dressage Committee (ADC) Rider’s Representative and Denise will provide this feedback to the Australian Dressage Committee.
