2022 FEI World Equestrian Games

Earlier this year Equestrian Australia submitted a non-binding expression of interest to the FEI in relation to hosting the 2022 FEI World Equestrian Games (WEG). 

Considerable effort has been put into exploring the feasibility of Australia becoming the host nation. Despite this, there remains a number of questions relating to future WEG events and, as such, EA has decided not to submit a bid for 2022. We continue to be interested in hosting major international events in Australia and will continue to discuss opportunities with the FEI as they arise.
