Aussies shine in France

Good results from Aussies competing overseas this weekend ! 

DRIVING

Congratulations to our Ariat International Athlete of the Year Boyd Exell on winning the International Driving Event at Saumur, FRANCE. Boyd held the lead from beginning to end and could afford one ball and some time penalties in the cones course, offering him his third victory with 138.26 points in this Saumur International Driving Event.

DRESSAGE

Dressage riders Briana Burgess and Lyndal Oatley posted strong scores in both the Grand Prix and the Grand Prix Freestyle in the CDI4* "Les Internationaux de Dressage" in Compiegne, FRANCE.

Briana and her 17-year-old Rhinelander horse La Scala 3 finished second in the Grand Prix with 70.980% and 3rd of the GP Freestyle scoring a good 74.150%.

Lyndal and her bay Oldenburger horse Sandro Boy 9 scored 70.820% in the Grand Prix, finishing fourth and 73.175% in the GP Freestyle, also finishing in fourth position.

JUMPING

Edwina Tops-Alexander finished second in the CSI5* Prix Giorgio Armani (1m50) with her 10-year-old chestnut mare Questina in sunny Saint Tropez, FRANCE during the Longines Athina Onassis Horse Show, gathering the 35 best riders of the planet.
