Australian Para Riders Shine at Boneo CPEDI World Championship Qualifier
Competition is well underway at Boneo Park, where the 2026 Boneo CPEDI — held as part of the Leader Equine Dressage Spectacular — has brought together Australia’s best para equestrian athletes for one of the most important events on the domestic calendar.
The event marks the third Australian-based selection opportunity for the FEI Para Dressage World Championships, set to take place in Aachen, Germany in August 2026.
Athletes took to the arena across CPEDI 2*, 3* and Virtus events, producing strong performances under the watchful eye of World Championships Ground Jury President Marco Orsini of Germany. Orsini’s presence as an international official represents a valuable opportunity for Australian riders to be assessed at the highest level ahead of the World Championships.
Representing Australia in the team event for this competition were Claire Graham (Grade III), Mietta Innes-Irons (Grade V), Lisa Martin (Grade V), Bridget Murphy (Grade II), and reserve Helen Batson (Grade IV).
“I am incredibly proud of our Australian athletes who are constantly improving across the board.” — Lisa Baker, President of the Ground Jury
Baker’s words reflect what has been visible in the arena: a squad growing in confidence, consistency and competitive readiness as Aachen draws closer.
