CrossCountry App 2 Now Available for iPhones

Next generation of CrossCountry app makes remembering cross country courses and riding to time easier than ever before!

Equimaps today announced that their next generation CrossCountry 2 is now available in App Store’s worldwide. Featuring a new and improved design, CrossCountry 2 offers rich map details and enhanced timing information giving riders even more information to help them ride effectively and safely.

CrossCountry 2 introduces a new way to browse fence photos with the stunning new gallery view. Now users can quickly review fence photos, numbers and names all on one screen, reveal more details and see full screen images by tapping on a fence.

Count down minute markers for every watch preference

Count down minute markers are now available for riders who prefer to set their stopwatch to count down mode. In the new map layers settings feature, riders can choose between Count Up or Count Down minute markers and “Time at fence” will be adjusted automatically.

Explore more courses by viewing instantly

CrossCountry 2 makes it easy to browse cross country courses from around the world and view courses instantly without downloading first. Users going to an event with poor internet, or wanting to add their own comments or photos can download a course and make it their own.

Navigate around venues with highly detailed maps 

CrossCountry 2 introduces a new way to navigate around event venues with Venue Map Features. See dressage arenas, parking and more on the Street Map. Fence names now show on the map so riders can study the track and fence names at the same time, enhancing visualisation and jogging the memory. 

A Stunning new logo 

CrossCountry 2 has a stunning new logo, symbolising equestrian, tracking, safety and a hub for important information.

Zoom in on every detail

With CrossCountry 2, users can zoom in on fence photos. Pinch to zoom in and see every detail up close. 

CrossCountry 2 replaces the current CrossCountry and the free CrossCountry Lite in the App Store. These legacy apps will continue to work but no further updates will be released. CrossCountry 2 is already available in the Android Play Store as “CrossCountry” and a new update for Android has been released today with the same features as CrossCountry 2

  • CrossCountry 2 is free to download and view courses. Subscribe to Pro features for US$29.99 (AU$39.99, €29.99, £24.99) a year. With CrossCountry Pro, users can record their own courses with photos, videos, notes and striding, automatically calculate minute markers and download offline maps. There is a 7 day free trial for Pro features.
