Equestrian Australia announces selectors for Eventing program

Equestrian Australia today confirmed the appointment of Georgia Clifford, Jim Dunn and Olivia Skellern (nee Bunn) as the Selectors for Eventing for 2013-2016.

EA welcomes back Georgia Clifford who will resume her role as Chair of the Selection Panel which she took on leading into London 2012 Olympic Games. She is Senior Associate at Minter Ellison Lawyers and has a long history in eventing including representing Australia and competing at major international competitions in Australia and overseas.

Veteran selector Jim Dunn also returns to the panel with more than 20 years’ experience as a national selector for eventing as well as holding senior officials positions in the sport including technical delegate and judge.

Olivia Skellern joins the three person selection panel bringing to the role more than 15 years competition experience including representing Australia at the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and World Cup Final.

The national eventing selection panel are appointed for a four year term which will finish one month after the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

Equestrian Australia would like to thank outgoing Eventing Selector Barry Roycroft for his significant contribution to the national eventing program. Barry served as a selector for many years and brought to the position knowledge and experience as a three time Olympian and Australian representative at World Games and Trans-Tasman.
