
Equestrian Australia Congratulates Sharon Jarvis OAM
Equestrian Australia congratulates Sharon Jarvis on receiving the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours for services to Paralympic equestrian sports. This prestigious award recognises Sharon’s exceptional service to equestrian sport and her inspirational role as a leader and advocate in Para Dressage competition.
Sharon has represented Australia at three Paralympic Games and competed at the highest levels across multiple other international events. These include two bronze medals at the 2010 World Championships.
Sharon is celebrated not only for her competitive success but also for her leadership within the sport—coaching and mentoring young athletes, advocating for inclusivity, and helping shape Para Dressage in Australia.
Sharon has also contributed to the broader community in a variety of roles, including as an ambassador for Sock it to Sarcoma!
Sharon’s OAM is a fitting tribute to her years of dedication and a legacy that continues to inspire.
