Expressions of Interest re-open for EA Jumping Committee Reference Groups 2022 - 2023

Following the recent Equestrian Australia Jumping Committee (EAJC) meeting and the review of the policy and appointment period, the EAJC has re-opened Expressions of Interest (EOI) for accredited EA officials wishing to be considered for appointment to the EA Jumping Committee Reference Groups (EAJCRGs) 2022-2023. Please note: the appointment period will be from appointment date until 30th June 2023. The updated EAJC Reference Group Policy 2022 - 2023 is attached below.

There are three (3) Reference Groups:

  • EAJC Judges Reference Group
  • EAJC Course Designers Reference Group
  • EAJC Stewards Reference Group

The EAJCRGs report to the EAJC and are responsible for providing advice on matters referred to the EAJCRG as well as reviewing the proposed annual FEI Rule Changes and proofreading of EA National Rules. Each Committee shall be comprised of 3 members. Full details of the EAJC Reference Group Policy 2022-2023 can be found below.

In the interest of succession planning, the EAJC would like to invite interested accredited EA officials to apply for a reserve position(s), to gain an understanding of the operation of the EAJCRG and mentorship. The role will be designated as a non-voting member of the EAJCRG.

The deadline for expressions of interest for all EAJCRGs is FRIDAY 8th JULY 2022.

Applicants must complete the application (found below) and also provide any additional information that may assist your application via email to Jenny Merity, EA Committee Liaison Officer [email protected] by the nominated closing date, FRIDAY 8th JULY 2022.
