FEI Officials 2023 - Competency-Based Evaluation System

As of 16 December 2022, the 2023 FEI CES Assessments will be accessible. Separate enrolment notifications will be sent for each CES Assessment directly to FEI Officials via FEI Campus. This means that depending on the function and discipline, several CES Assessments might have to be taken by Officials.

The FEI have compiled all information on the Competency-Based Evaluation System HERE on the FEI webiste

All FEI Officials are invited to take the CES Assessment on FEI Campus from 16 December 2022 to 15 December 2023. Note that to officiate at events taking place after 31 March 2022, Officials must have passed the CES Assessment. If passed, the function will be extended to 31 March 2023.

  • If not passed, the function will be “On Hold” – not being allowed to officiate - until completed or Online or In-Person Maintenance Interview has been conducted.
  • If the CES online Assessment 2022 is not taken by 15 December 2022, the function will be closed.
  • Please forward you completion certificate via to Amy McGregor [email protected]

The Officiating review will take place at in 2024. The FEI will review the number of events an Official has officiated at over the past three years, (2022, 2023 and 2024), and compare it to the requirements of the relevant Education System. Please take this time to look at the requirements needed for your role to make sure you will be able to meet them by December 2024.
