Frangible Fence Workshop for course builders
Attention Eventers and other interested Riders, Coaches and Officials

We are very excited to be offering the opportunity for athletes to attend the first Frangible Fence Workshop for course builders. Equestrian Australia has made a session available for coaches, riders and officials to hear directly from the experts, the workshop can be attended in person or online on the 14th January 2026 from 6pm -7.30pm at Werribee National Equestrian Centre in Victoria. A link will be sent to those who are attending online, and the session will be recorded for anyone who cannot attend.

Ewan Kellett-FEI Level 4 Course Designer and co-ordinator of Australia’s FEI CD Group
With the opportunity to see frangible fences in construction and talk to European course builders and Matts Bornum from MIMS

- Frangible Devices- New Fence types being made frangible
- XC Design directions -what riders can expect to see in Europe and Australia
- Coaching for Success- key points for coaches and riders re success and safety in the XC phase
