Jumping: North American Development Tour

Applications are currently being sought from Australian Jumping riders who wish to compete & represent Australia as part of the North American Development Tour from 17 – 27 July 2025. 

In the lead up to Aachen26 and LA28, High Performance Jumping is putting an emphasis on development of emerging talent. The aim of the North American Development Tour is to provide international experience necessary for talented athletes to prepare to represent the country in future international championships, strengthening the depth of qualified riders capable of representing Australia at Olympic and World Championship level.

In July 2025 Australia has the opportunity to send a team to two CSI3* Nations Cup events in North America. 

• CSIO3* July 17-20, 2025, at the Caledon Equestrian Park, Toronto, Ontario CAN   
• CSIO3* July 24-27, 2025, at Traverse City Horse Show, Michigan, USA   

For the North American Development Tour, we are looking to send athletes with the following experience:  

• Emerging talented riders and combinations who have competed consistently and successfully in CSI1*-W events in Australia.   
• Emerging talented riders and combinations who have competed consistently and successfully in CSI3* events in the US and Europe.  
• Athletes who selectors believe may have the potential to develop further into an international representative.

HP plans to send a squad of up to 7 athletes to these competitions with the aim of rotating them for the Nations Cup events. The athletes have the option of competing at other competitions on the “North American Tour”. 

• Global Open CSI2* (July 9-13, 2025) at Caledon Equestrian Park (Toronto)   
• Nations Cup Caledon (Toronto) ( July 17-20)   
• Nations Cup Traverse City (July 24-27)    
• North American Youth Championships / CSI3* at Traverse City (July 30 - August 3, 2025)    
• Major League Traverse City CSI5/2* (August 6-10, 2025)  OFF WEEK    
• Major League Toronto CSI5/2* (August 20-24, 2025)   
• Toronto CSI2* (August 27-31, 2025)
