Letter to Our Members - 24th September 2019

Dear members,

Recently, Equestrian Australia (EA) became aware that one of its members has been charged with a criminal offence.

To the best of EA’s knowledge, the alleged incident did not take place at any EA events, locations or associated activities.

Everyone has the right to a fair trial and EA will make no comment which might prejudice that right.

Equally, EA takes its responsibility seriously to ensure that equestrian sport is safe for everybody.

EA is monitoring developments closely and will continue to seek further information. EA will act according to the law and in the best interests of its members and equestrian sport.

EA does not propose to make further comment for the present.

The EA Board is committed to transparent and open communications with our members. We will continue to keep you updated on any further developments.
