Riding High at Picnic in the Park
World Cup Show Jumping, Grand Prix Dressage Freestyle and Family Fun Day!
Mornington Peninsula’s Boneo Park Equestrian Centre goes on show this January with a premier Boneo Classic 2016 equine fuelled family event.
Australia Day Weekend celebrations get fresh for competitors and spectators alike on Sunday, 24th January with an all day Picnic in the Park at the Boneo Park Equestrian Centre. Thisfive star equestrian facility is home to aspiring dressage and jumping riders and equine enthusiasts and is set against the beautiful backdrop of the Mornington Peninsula hinterland and wetlands.
The Boneo Classic 2016 is supported by NAB, and forms part of the 2015/16 FEI World Cup Jumping Series. Gates open at 11am to a program filled with international multidiscipline show stoppers including World Cup Jumping and CDI Dressage, a stable tour at 1.30pm, plus Master of Ceremonies and Australia Day Ambassador ‘Coxy’ (Geoff Cox) from Channel 7’s ‘Coxy’s Big Break’ is your MC for the day.
Local Mornington Peninsula gourmet foods and beverages including the best beers and wines from the region are available for purchase all day. Or bring your own food and picnic rug and soak up all things equine, while the kids enjoy face painting, pony rides and jumping castles, and parents enjoy a stroll through the Trade Village to check out the wide selection of horse related products on offer. Live music gets the crowd jumping from 5pm to conclude the perfect family day out.

Kids under twelve years old are FREE and adult tickets are a steal at $30 for hours of entertainment, games, prizes and fun, fun, FUN for the whole family.
