Statement from Equestrian Australia, Equestrian NSW & Sydney Jumping Association

Equestrian Australia (EA), Equestrian New South Wales (ENSW) and the Sydney Jumping Association (SJA) are deeply saddened by the loss of 23-year-old Sienna Weir, who passed away on the evening of Thursday 4 May, following injuries sustained in a serious incident last month at a Sydney Jumping Association event.

EA expresses its sincere condolences to Sienna’s family.  Our thoughts are with them at this time.  We also extend our condolences to her friends and the equestrian community, including those who witnessed the event. We wish to respect their privacy at this difficult time.
