Statement from Equestrian Australia - London Olympic Cycle Review

Following on from the London Olympic Cycle, Equestrian Australia is undertaking a review of its High Performance program.

The in-depth performance review, which will evaluate all three Olympic disciplines performances over the last four years, will be conducted by an independent facilitator who will be appointed by the Australian Sports Commission in conjunction with Equestrian Australia.

The outcomes of the review will underpin the development of EA’s High Performance program for the coming Rio Olympic cycle.

An expert panel has been assembled for the review and includes:

7. Graham Davey – National Jumping Committee

8. Gill Rolton – National Eventing Committee

9. Lesley Sullivan – Australian Dressage Committee

10. Georgia Clifford – Selector

11. Carolyn Lieutenant – Owner

12. Mary Seefried – Independent (former Chair of EA)

13. Geoff Sinclair – Independent (former Chair of EA)

The review will take place from 2-3 October 2012. The panel’s findings and recommendations will be presented to the EA Board for consideration.
