Statement for riders competing at the 2017 Boneo Classic

Requirements for Australian riders to compete in a CDI-Pony, CDI-Junior Rider, CDI-Young Rider and CDI-U25 Grand Prix in their own country.

As per FEI General Regulations Article 137 (2) and Appendix E horses taking part in the above classes in their own country are not required to hold a current FEI Passport or FEI Recognition card.

However the following requirements must be met.

1.  Horses and riders must be registered with the FEI. The registration is based on the calendar year and must be renewed in January each year.  Riders must be current EA members.

Riders who are planning to compete at the Boneo Classic in January are urged to complete all paperwork before the Equestrian Australia office closes for Christmas on 23 December 2016.  There is an early bird discount of $60 for EA National Passports purchased before that date (normally $80).
