WEG Roles for Two Australian Eventing Stewards

Christine WallisEventing stewards Chris Wallis (VIC) and Lindy Young (VIC) have received stewarding appointments for this year's World Equestrian Games in Normandy.

Chris is EA’s eventing steward’s general and was part of the steward’s team in the 2012 London Olympic Games.

Lindy is a 2013 recipient of the FEI’s Global Education Program for Eventing. This initiative offers funding assistance to eventing officials to travel to international events so they can further advance their skills.

Both Lindy and Chris were part of the eventing steward's team at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky. More recently they took part in last year's WEG test event along with 16 other eventing stewards.

The steward's team for eventing at the Games will be led by Jürgen Petershagen (GER) as Chief Steward and Thierry Castelle (FRA) as assistant Chief Steward.

Equestrian Australia congratulates both Chris and Lindy on their appointments.
