Willinga Park to Launch Equine Conference Centre

Willinga Park’s new conference centre, the Equine Education Centre, will officially open on 28 November. It will offer an unrivalled conference experience set amid national parks, with plenty of coastal and bushland walking trails to discover, beautiful sandy beaches, popular surf breaks, a temperate climate, wildlife and access to Australia’s finest equestrian centre.

“There is no other location which allows you to experience Australia this way,” says Terry Snow of Willinga Park.

“No other venue offers guests the chance to be just minutes from some of Australia’s most beautiful beaches and surrounded by vast bushland at the best, equine centre in the Southern Hemisphere. Guests will not be disappointed.”

The Conference Hall seats 300 people in cocktail mode, 280 people in conference mode and 200 people dining. It features floor-to-ceiling windows, with unparalleled views to surrounding bushland and natural light that will impress even the most selective guests.

Flexible room layouts, coupled with state-of-the-art technology and fully-adaptable conferencing equipment with a variety of options for staging and lighting, makes for an exceptional space. Guests can host a variety of events, from small to medium scale conferences, corporate retreats, meetings, functions and expos. A private function bar and restaurant are connected to the main hall.

Facilities also include the Willinga Park Boardroom, a sophisticated space to meet, collaborate and share ideas, with the convenience of proximity to both the main hall and accommodation. Other breakout areas are available including the Grand Prix building, an architectural-award-winning space, with adjoining commercial kitchen, ideal for meetings and formal dinners.

18 luxury, freestanding pavilions, including two four-bedroom pavilions and 16 two-bedroom pavilions are offered exclusively for events, so privacy is assured. All are self-contained, with spacious interiors and uninterrupted north facing views of the surrounding bushland.

Guests can enjoy the park’s botanical gardens and unparalleled sculpture collection, heated outdoor swimming pool, communal BBQ area and fire pit. Available team building activities include horse trail rides, guided hikes, mountain biking, local tours and more.

Willinga Park’s new conference centre, the Equine Education Centre is just 2.5 hours east of Canberra and 3.5 hours south of Sydney.
