Once you have purchased the Introductory Horse Management and Introductory Riding resources you will be enrolled in the program.
When you receive your books read through them and familiarise yourself with the task requirements.
You will then need to contact a Coach Educator (CE) or Skills Specific Trainer and Assessor (SSTA) to organise an appointment to begin your assessment. You can find a CE/SSTA in your area. Details below:

Other Documents required to achieve Introductory Coaching Certificate
These documents will be required for you to complete your Introductory Coaching Certificate; you can start working through these certificates from the start of your journey prior to your Coaching Assessment.
- Completion of Introductory Horse Management and Introductory Riding Modules

- Copy of current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
- Copy of current Working with Children Check/Blue Card
- Copy of Sport Integrity 2025 Annual Coaches Update https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/ )
- Copy of Sport Australia Community Coaching Essential Skills Certificate please NOTE this must be the full course of 7 Modules which can be completed as one course or 7 individual courses (free to complete online: https://learning.equestrian.org.au/login/)
- Copy of EA’s Concussion Course Certificate (free to complete online: https://learning.equestrian.org.au/login/ )
- Copy of Sport Integrity Anti-Doping Fundamentals Certificate (free to complete online: https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/ )
- Copy of Sport Integrity Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Certificate (free to complete online: https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/ )
- Copy of Certificate of Currency for Insurance (only required if you are selecting the Registration Only option). You can see what our insurance offers here.
- Complete the New Coach Registration Form, New Coach Registration Form

Please note, you will still need to purchase the books and take these along with your competition results or other accreditations to a Coach Educator for verification.
