Oatley Climbing the World Dressage Rankings

Australia’s own dressage record-setting superstar is making waves on the international front.

Kristy Oatley and gorgeous mount Du Soleil have done an extended canter right up the FEI World Dressage Rankings, not one, not two, but nine places up the ranks from 44th to 35th spot since November.

But that’s not even the best bit. 2018 saw the duo move both up and down the table over the course of the year, but with hard work and dedication, it was mostly up. Great scores and thus higher points saw the team ultimately finish much closer to the top of the table by the end of the year.

Since April 2018, Oatley and Du Soleil have moved up a whopping 171 places. There are 754 ranks on the chart.

Joining Oatley in the top 100 is one other Australian dressage combination. Alexis Hellyer is sitting at rank number 88 with mount Bluefields Floreno.

In top spot is Isabell Werth (GER), next in line is Laura Graves (USA), with Werth also holding positions 3 and 4 on different horses.
