Registering as an accredited coach with Equestrian Australia gives you access to the EA National Insurance Program, which provides coach cover at a flat annual rate — Personal Accident, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance.

Because EA arranges this cover for its coaches as a group, the premium reflects the economies of scale of the whole scheme rather than being individually rated. A coach who arranges cover independently is priced on the scale of their own business activities, and generally pays more for narrower cover — it's common to pay more for Public Liability alone than an EA-registered coach pays for the full Personal Accident, Public Liability and Professional Indemnity package combined.
