SECOND REMINDER: Special General Meeting, 11 December 2025
This is our second and final reminder regarding the Special General Meeting (SGM) to be held on Thursday, 11 December 2025.
URGENT: PROXY DEADLINE IS 7.00PM TUESDAY, 9 DECEMBER 2025
CRITICAL UPDATE: INVALID PROXIES FROM MR RALEIGH
Equestrian Australia has received proxy appointments from Mr Raleigh that are invalid as they do not contain all information required to be compliant with the Corporations Act.
If you have submitted your proxy directly to Mr Raleigh, and it does not contain the required information, your proxy is NOT VALID and will NOT be counted at the meeting. To date, all of the proxies that EA has received from Mr Raleigh in relation to the above meeting are NOT VALID.
To ensure your vote counts, EA recommends that you submit your proxy through the official Vero Voting portal before the deadline.
ACTION REQUIRED: SUBMIT YOUR PROXY VIA VERO VOTING
If you cannot attend the SGM in person and you want your vote to count, you must submit your proxy, and EA recommends that you do that through the Vero Voting portal. Proxies must be received by 7.00pm Tuesday, 9 December 2025.
Why this matters:
- The Vero Voting portal is the only method EA recommends to guarantee your proxy is valid
- You will receive instant confirmation that your proxy has been received and matched to your membership
- Any proxy submitted through other methods may be subject to validity issues
If you have already submitted a proxy by any other method (including to Mr Raleigh), we strongly urge you to resubmit through the Vero Voting portal to ensure it is valid.
A later proxy will revoke an earlier proxy if both cannot be validly exercised.
How to Submit:
- Access the Vero Voting portal via the link in your original Notice of Meeting
- Login with your unique member credentials
- Complete your proxy appointment online
- Submit before 7.00pm Tuesday, 9 December 2025
