Announcement of Equestrian Australia and Gow-Gates Insurance Broker Partnership

We're pleased to share that Equestrian Australia has appointed Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers as our new insurance intermediary for affiliated equine associations. Gow-Gates bring extensive experience in sport and equine insurance, and we're confident this partnership will deliver a higher level of specialist support for our members going forward.

Importantly, your existing insurance coverage is not affected. All current policies remain fully active until 30 June 2026. There is nothing you need to do right now and any certificates of currency you have already received remain valid. More details are below regarding ongoing and new claims.

This transition represents a positive step forward, providing enhanced industry expertise, improved service delivery, and specialist support. Members can expect a high level of professionalism, tailored advice, and continued support throughout the policy lifecycle. The partnership is designed to strengthen risk management and ensure long-term sustainability of insurance coverage across the industry.

Gow-Gates are already actively involved in managing the renewal process and are your first point of contact for all insurance matters. Moving forward, certificate of currency requests or claims updates need to be directed towards the Gow-Gates team, contact details can be found below. Members will receive further communications as new materials and an updated website become available to support easy access to information. 

Ongoing and New Claims

Until the expiry of the current policy being the 30th of June 2026, all new claims will require lodgment with supporting documentation to the EA office via [email protected]. Upon verification, Gow-Gates will then assist with lodging claims to the insurer.

Certificates of Currency and Policy Documents 
Please note that all current certificates of currency that have been provided remain active until 30th June 2026, we understand that as we move closer to renewal that updated certificates are required for future events and agreements.
