Equestrian Australia has released the timeline and National Discipline Selection Policy for Australia’s Vaulting Team for the 2027 FEI World Championships for Juniors & Young Vaulters, to be held in Verolanuova, Italy, from 26 July 2027.

The approved Version 02 of the National Discipline Selection Policy took effect on 1 October 2026, marking the opening of the selection process for athletes, lungers, horse owners and coaches.

Athletes, pas-de-deux and squads intending to compete must register their intent by 1 November 2026 by emailing [email protected], attention HP Sport Manager Di Saunders. Registration will provide athletes with the Special Considerations paperwork, which must be returned by 4 April 2027.

The qualification period is already underway, with eligible combinations able to earn Minimum Eligibility Requirements (MERs) and performances from 1 January 2026. Selection will take place in two stages, with the National Vaulting Selection Panel determining the Nominated Entries before selecting the final World Championship Team.

Athletes and support personnel should familiarise themselves with the eligibility requirements, qualification criteria, competition and discretionary selection considerations, integrity requirements and key deadlines.
