Paul is one of six Australian riders to win the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials taking out the title in 2010 on Inonothing, Paul also came 10th the same year on his second horse Stormhill Michael.  Paul grew up in Rouse Hill in Sydney and upon finishing his Agriculture Science degree Paul relocated overseas in 1999. Paul Tapner is known for his motivation and work ethic and is a highly sought after coach and trainer in the UK. Paul has been awarded an Australian sports medal for exceptional services towards the Pony Club movement.
