I am a Dressage Judge how does this affect me?

The impact of COVID -19 on EA National Official re-accreditation has recently been reviewed.

In consultation with the National Dressage and Dressage Judge Committees it has been agreed to extend the re-accreditation period until 2022 to allow for those Officials to meet the necessary requirements to re- accredit.

The re-accreditation period was due to end on 31/12/20 however, due to COVID-19 this has been extended to 31/12/21 so you have an additional 12 months in which to meet your compulsory requirements.

What is the actual period that counts for completing my compulsory requirements?

The compulsory requirements will be assessed from 1/1/18 to 31/12/21

I am in the process of Upgrading, what happens with my pre-requisites?

Pre-requisites such as theory exams, shadow judging and sit ins all have a tenure of 2 years see EA Dressage Rule 12.22 In an effort to make the process easier for upgrading the restrictions on pre-requisites from the date they were completed during 2018 and 2019 will have a tenure of 3 years ie March 2018  to 31/3/2021 and June 2019 to 30/6/2022
