EA Board Statement in Response to COVID-19 Threat

Equestrian Australia (EA) continues to strongly recommend no events until further notice.

EA and our affiliated State Branches continue to carefully monitor the COVID-19 situation in Australia and are in regular consultation with the FEI, the Australian Institute of Sport, the Australian Olympic Committee and national and state health authorities.

The health and welfare of our community must remain the highest priority.

We therefore strongly recommend that organising committees should continue not to hold events.

This is a fluid and constantly changing situation and the health and welfare of our community is the highest priority.

Organisers of any events should consider this recommendation in accordance with local conditions and national and State Governments' advice.

All members should continue to follow public health procedures.

We thank you for your continued understanding and support during this unprecedented situation.
