
Endurance Updates
Australia will send its first full team of young riders to the FEI Endurance World Championships for Young Riders and Juniors in Buftea, Romania since our bronze medal team in Abu Dhabi in 2011. The Championships will be held on 20th September 2025. Led by Chef d'Equipe, Christine Stomps and supported by Team Veterinarian Dr Narelle Cribb, the team and reserves are –

Australian FEI Endurance Ride Results
It has been a busy start to the FEI Endurance calendar in New South Wales and Queensland.
On 28 March, the Burrumbuttock Endurance Riders Inc. hosted an event that included a CEI 2* 120km Youth/Open and CEI 1* 100km Youth/Open. Nikki Sample of Imbil, QLD riding Razorback Blue Avatar won the 2* Open and Poppy Kettlewell of Tabletop, NSW riding Oso Surprise took out the Youth division. Annette Bailey of Woodstock, NSW riding Bullio Charlotte won the 1* Open division.
The Snowy Mountains Zone Endurance Riders Association was next to host, with an event at Tumbarumba on 18th April. The CEI 2* 120km Open division was won by Jessica Langridge of Panuara, NSW riding Razorback Arctic Fire. Nikki Sample was again successful in the CEI 1* 100km Open division riding Brookleigh Danu, with Poppy Kettlewell taking out the 1* 100km Youth division, again on Oso Surprise.
On 24 May the Widgee Endurance and Trail Riders Club Inc hosted an event at Widgee. Again, Nikki Sample excelled in the 2* 120km Open riding Razorback Kelly's Fire, with the Youth division won by Indi Else of Toowoomba, QLD riding Shazaam. The 1* 100km Open division saw Shelley Chapman of Kilkivan, QLD on Drusilla te take out line honours, with Indra Hofstee of Toowoomba, QLD on Royal Rose Malibu winning the 1* Youth division.
These rides have provided excellent preparation and qualifying opportunities in the lead up to the Equestrian Australia National Endurance Championships 2025 to be hosted by the Stirling’s Crossing Endurance Club at Imbil, QLD in July. The schedule for Imbil includes CEI 1*, 2*, 3* in both Youth and Open divisions.
This event will be followed by a CEI 1*, 2*, 3* for both Youth & Open divisions at Panuara, NSW in October.
