Expressions of Interest for EA High Performance Committee Chair

Equestrian Australia (EA) is seeking Expressions of Interest for the role of Chair of the EA High Performance Committee (former EA High Performance Panel) following Leigh Clifford's decision to step down after more than five years at the helm. 

Overview

Equestrian Australia’s (EA) High Performance (HP) is aligned with HP Committee (formerly HP Panel), which is a Sub-Committee of the EA Board. This structure is aligned with the Sub-Committee charter (formerly HP Panel Terms of Reference).

Role

The role of the HP Chairperson is to lead the HP Sub-committee to act as a conduit between the EA Board and the HP programme.

  • The HP Sub-Committee will oversee the strategic direction of the EA HP Plan.
  • The Chairperson will work closely with the HP Director to ensure good governance and best practise in the delivery of the agreed HP Outcomes.
  • The HP programme is subject to the Sport Investment Agreement, aligned with the HP Director to ensure good governance and best practice in the delivery of the agreed HP outcomes.

The deadline for Expressions of Interest have been extended and will now close Friday 8th April 2022.
