Jamie Winning-Kermond and Tulara Wat Colblensky have a fantastic World Cup Final campaign in Fort Worth

Australia’s Jamie Winning-Kermond and Tulara Wat Colblensky have completed a memorable Longines FEI Jumping World Cup Final campaign in Fort Worth, Texas, finishing 21st overall after stepping onto one of the biggest stages in the sport. For an Australian combination on debut at the Final, it was a week that carried real significance and gave Australian supporters plenty to follow with pride.

Jamie and Tulara Wat Colblensky opened their campaign with a clear round in the first final competition, stopping the clock in 68.73 seconds to finish 20th. It was an encouraging start in a fast indoor opener and gave the Australian pair a strong foundation heading into the second day of competition.

In the second final, they added just one rail and one time penalty to finish 21st in the class. That result moved them through to the final day of competition, with the Australian combination sitting equal 21st overall after the first two rounds and securing their place in Round A on Sunday.

That alone was an important milestone. The World Cup Final brings together the leading combinations from around the globe, and to progress through to the last day of competition was a meaningful achievement for Jamie and her Australian-bred mare. Tulara Wat Colblensky, owned by Rachel Peel, is by Colman out of Tulara Cornetto, by Cornet Obolensky, and her presence in Fort Worth was also a proud moment for Australian breeding.

In Round A of the third final competition, Jamie and Tulara Wat Colblensky added 16 penalties, which left them just outside the top 20 combinations who returned for Round B. They closed the week on 36 penalties overall to finish 21st in the final standings, completing every phase of the campaign with determination and representing Australia with distinction.

The 2026 title was claimed by America’s Kent Farrington, but from an Australian point of view there was plenty to celebrate in Fort Worth. Jamie and Tulara Wat Colblensky earned their place at the Final, made the most of the opportunity, and came away with valuable experience from one of the sport’s most prestigious events.
