Resignation of EA Director Colin Chantler

Equestrian Australia wishes to advise director Colin Chantler resigned from the board on Friday 22 February effective immediately.

This week the EA board has now received resignations from three directors including Colin Chantler, David Lindh and Chair Judy Fasher.

The Special General Meeting (SGM) on 4 March 2019 has now been cancelled by the board because the only business on the agenda was to remove the three directors who have now resigned.

Expressions Of Interest (EOI) to nominate for consideration to fill one of the three casual vacancies will be advertised early next week. Both participants and branches may nominate. The board will then appoint the casual vacancies after careful consideration and consultation with stakeholders.

The board intends to review the direction of EA in consultation with stakeholders as soon as possible.
